Animal Registrations
Animal Registration for IHFA Members with registered herd complete your Animal Events as per for your passport but for pedigree animals include the chosen name.
e.g. your prefix = Killarney
Cow family name = Daffodil
Sire of calf = Ruud
Desired calf name = Killarney Ruud Daffodil
In your animal events enter 'Ruud Daffodil' in the name column.
Grading up your herd:
If you are milk recording it is now easy to Grade-up your herd to pedigree status. If milk recording data confirms three generations of ancestry the oldest generation is classified as an 'A' in the supplementary register.
Her daughter, if by a full pedigree sire, is classified 'B' in the supplementary register. The daughter of an animal classified 'Bsr' if by a full pedigree sire is full pedigree.
