Tipperary/Waterford Club
2009 was a good year for the club in spite of all the doom and gloom in farming. In early January we had a night out at the dogs in Waterford where a crowd of 45 attended again this event was organised by our Sec. Eamon Mc Grath it was a very enjoyable night.
Later on in the year we had 2 stock judging nights, the first one in David Murphy’s farm in Clonea where David had some fine cows for Judging the Judge for the night was Eamon Coleman who stepped in at the last minute and did a great job, thanks Eamon. Mrs Murphy and family put on a lovely tea for us thanks to the ladies. Congratulations to all the winners.
The Second Stock judging night was in Martin Ryans in North Tipperary again Martin had great cows for judging and Seamus Costigan did a fine job of Judging. The ladies provided great refreshments. Our thanks to all. Congratulations to all the winners
The club went on a trip to UK this year we were based in The Queens Hotel in Chester and we visited 4 herds the Clayden /Danevalley/Helton/Bidley where we say super cows and of all the trips we have been on the Hospitality on this trip was second to none they couldnt make us feel more welcome a big thanks to all.

We did some shopping and Sightseeing, went to Manchester for a day around the city. Some people also went out at night clubbing. A great time was had by all. Thanks to Our Chairman Aidan and Joe for all the work they put into organising the trip.
We had our Social Night on the 6th November in Raheen House in Clonmel where the prizes for the herds competion were given out .We were delighted to have our Herds Competion Judge Tim Fitzmaurice and his wife as our guests . Tim gave 3 hard days judging our herds competion thanks Tim for doing a great job.
