DESCRIPTION:The IHFA Premier Bull Show & Sale will be held on Wednesday the 26th of March 2025 at Kilmallock Mart\, Co. Limerick in conjunction with Denis Barrett Auctions. Catalogue available here: \nHEALTH REQUIREMENTS\n• All entrants must be export tested.\n• All animals must be BVD tested (Animal Health Ireland National BVD Programme)\n• Bulls with clinical signs of infectious disease(s) including Ringworm\, Warts\, Facial warts\, fungal or viral infections will not be accepted for entry. \nMINIMUM STANDARDS OF ENTRY\n• Both the Dam & G.Dam must be classified GP83 or better\n• The Dam to have a minimum of 600kgs combined Fat & Protein (total solids in one lact.)\n• Dam on 1st lactation (heifers)\, a minimum of 500kgs combined Fat & Protein will qualify\n• Pure Friesian Dam to have a minimum of 500kgs combined Fat & Protein (total solids)\n• Pedigree Certificates must be issued for all entrants.\n• Age criteria – bulls born between Aug 2023 & Feb 2024)\n• Recommended that bulls should be >150 EBI & Dams 3.5% Protein \nPRE-INSPECTION\nAll bulls will be pre-inspected before the sale to determine that they are of a Quality standard for a Premier Sale. \nENTRIES\nEntries to be submitted using the online form which can be found here. \nTo facilitate any extra information\, an exhibitor who so wishes may submit any extra relevant information and up to a maximum of three photographs. This information will be printed opposite the bull’s pedigree.
