The Irish Pure Friesian Club is delighted to announce a landmark event taking place on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025 at Kilkenny Mart – the inaugural Seminar and Showcase Sale.

Responding to growing enthusiasm and logistical constraints around the traditional Open Day, this new event format offers a fresh way to gather breeders, customers, and enthusiasts under one roof. Designed as both a platform for learning and a celebration of our breed, the day features four expert panel discussions covering topics central to the British Friesian community: our history, on-farm financial insights, emerging breeder talent, and breeding programme progress. Each panel is supported by an industry sponsor, ensuring real-world relevance and lively discussion.

Afternoon panels will be followed by refreshments, trade stands, and networking opportunities. The day will culminate in an evening parade and showcase sale, open to all club members to sell any age stock meeting the 87.5%+ Friesian requirement. This is an exciting opportunity to highlight quality animals to a targeted and engaged audience.

Dinner will be served at Langtons, Cillin Hill, offering a relaxed setting to reflect, connect, and plan for the future.
