The Gold Award, issued by IHFA, is for a standard of achievement in the year a registered Holstein Friesian cow reaches 3000kgs of protein production in her lifetime. The Diamond Award, issued by IHFA, is for a standard of achievement in the year a registered Holstein Friesian cow reaches 3000kgs of protein production in her lifetime and classifies Excellent (EX).
