Diageo Baileys All Ireland Champion Cow 2025

Annaghmore Fitz Atlee EX96, a six-year-old Holstein Friesian, was crowned the 2025 Diageo Baileys Irish Champion Dairy Cow at the 82nd Virginia Show in Co Cavan. The champion, jointly owned by Philip and Linda Jones of Co Wexford and Joel and Clive Richardson of Co Armagh, also received the coveted award for ‘Best Exhibitor Bred Cow’. The breeders were presented with the Virginia Milk Products Cup and a cheque for €3,000 by Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon, alongside representatives from Diageo Ireland and its cream supplier Tirlán. “This competition showcases why Ireland’s dairy industry is so highly rated by global consumers,” — Minister for Agriculture, Martin Heydon Minister Heydon congratulated all participants and praised the quality of this year’s show. He also highlighted the role of sponsors Diageo and Tirlán in supporting Ireland’s grass-fed dairy sector and promoting it on the global stage.
