IHFA Premier Bull Show & Sale 2016 – Report

The 41st Annual IHFA Sale really bucked the 2016 Holstein Bull Trade. There was a 62% Clearance, of Bulls with an average of €2,468. Top price was €4,100 went Lot 26 Paul Hannan’s Lisnalty Brookem 1805. Tom & James Kelly’s Lot 19 made €3,800 with Monamore Rumpus from the great Raven Family. Pat & Derek Frawley lot 8, made €3,000. Henry O Keeffe from Charleville, had a top price of €2,900 and an average of €2,238 for 4 bulls.  John O’ Callaghan’s Mountfarna 4 bulls averaged €2,238.

John O Sullivan Lisduff had Champion & Reserve and also averaged €2,150 from there 4 bulls on offer.  The really sale underlined, that there is demand for quality pedigree registered bulls and IHFA Premier Bull Show & Sale is one to attend for both exhibitors & purchasers.
