Visa Letters
Delegates requiring a Visa letter/invitation letter can email the request to ehrc2023@abbey.ie
Please note that visa letters will only be provided for delegates who have paid for their registration in full.
Registration Cancellation
Notice of cancellation must be sent by email to the conference secretariat ehrc2023@abbey.ie
- For cancellations received on or before 27 Jan 2023 full refunds are granted minus €50 admin fee
- For cancellation between 28 Jan 2023 and 27 Feb 2023, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded
- No refunds can be made from 28 Feb 2023 onwards
- Substitutions can be made at the discretion of the Conference Committee
- No-shows will not receive a refund
- Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive the refund
- If you test positive for COVID-19 and will not be out of your isolation period prior to your travel date/start of the conference, or if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, you must not attend the conference.
Unexpected Cancellation of the event or impossibility to hold it
In the unlikely case that EHRC 2023 cannot be held in whole or in part due to any event beyond the Organisers’ control or force majeure (such as riot, fire, explosion, accident, flood, earthquake, sabotage, strikes, acts of law or regulation by Irish or foreign Authorities, epidemic outbreak, sanitary emergency, etc) the Conference Organisers cannot be held liable for any damage, cost, or loss incurred, such as registration fee, transportation and accommodation costs, or any other direct or indirect loss or consequential damage.

The Castleknock Hotel Dublin is located in a beautiful country setting on the city’s doorstep just 15 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from Dublin Airport. The hotel is located close to Dublin landmarks such as Luttrellstown Castle, Phoenix Park and Farmleigh House & Gardens.
How to get there
Driving from the Airport or the M50?
Take junction 6 and then veer left taking the turn for the M3 motorway to Navan/Cavan and not Blanchardstown/Castleknock. Then exit at junction 3 of the M3 at the Blanchardstown Centre beside the Crowne Plaza Hotel Blanchardstown. Take a left turn at the roundabout and continue straight on past 3 roundabouts, over the Dr Troy bridge, straight on at the next cross junction and then take a left at the T-junction. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5km until you see the hotel on the right-hand side.

Ferry
Castleknock Hotel is located about 25 minutes from Dublin Port and 35 minutes from Dun Laoghaire Port. Delegates arriving from Dublin Port can get to the hotel via Dublin City and the Phoenix Park or via the Dublin Port Tunnel and on to the M50 Southbound exiting at Junction 6 for Castleknock and Blanchardstown. From Dun Laoghaire, you need to get on to the M50 going Northbound exiting at Junction 6 for Castleknock and Blanchardstown.
Train
The nearest train station to the hotel is Coolmine Train Station which is approximately 15 minutes walk from the hotel or a 5-minute drive, although Clonsilla and Castleknock Train Stations are only about a 7-minute drive from the hotel. Bus
The local bus route is number 37 from Aston Quay in Dublin City close to O’Connell Bridge. The nearest bus stop to get off for the hotel is near Carpenterstown Shopping Centre. From the bus you will see a pub called The Carpenter, this is the stop you should exit the bus. From the bus stop follow the path away from the shopping centre on Burnell Park Avenue turning right at the roundabout. From there about 30 metres past the roundabout is a laneway on the left hand side. Walk the length of the laneway which is about 100 metres long and you will come out at the entrance to Castleknock Hotel. For more information, view the google map below.
