Holstein Friesian Journal 

The Holstein Friesian Journal dates back to 1967, and has gone through a number of name and format changes since. Today, it is published in three editions each year, in spring, summer and winter.

What’s Inside

Each edition features profiles on our breeders and their herds, and sometimes on individual cows of note or cow families. Alongside these, you’ll find industry news, research findings, showing news, and club and YMA updates. Hard copies of bull and cow proofs, along with the annual classification listings, are published too.

There is something for every dairy farmer to read in each edition. Many of our members read the Journal cover to cover, and a good number collect back editions to refer to for historical or comparative interest.
