Focus Farm Open Day – Denis O’Leary

Our second Focus Farm Open Day will take place at Denis O’Leary’s “Clochrua Herd”, Cloghroe, Blarney, Co. Cork, T23 WV60, on Thursday September 3rd. Talks will commence at 11.30am. All are welcome.
Denis has built the Clochrua herd around genetics, grazing and efficiency, steadily expanding it over several decades. He now milks 170 cows in a spring calving system, with careful management and continued investment in genetics behind the herd’s success.
Come along to see the herd, meet Denis, and hear more about his approach to breeding and grassland management on the day.
